The EASY STREET COMPANY started with the idea that a square embroidery hoop would be more practical than a round embroidery hoop.
With a square hoop, one could stitch a whole design without having to move the hoop around, could stitch in the corners, and there
would be no screws to catch threads on. Engineers told us it couldn't be done, but by changing the round hoop concept, we did it and obtained
a patent. As the company formed and grew, customers suggested that other sizes be made.
Then, seeing cross-stitch ornaments in small frames, with the back sides covered in felt, hanging on a Christmas tree,
the idea occurred that two-sided frames would be much better. And so, our Sweet Suspensions frames were created.
We hope you will agree that they do make wonderful ornaments.
After that, books with patterns designed especially for our Hoop-Frames and Sweet Suspensions frames were printed. Later, special cross-stitch kits which include our
"Square" Hoop-Frames were created. These include everything one will need to complete the stitchery (except for scissors).
And, since all our products are quick and easy to do, we call our company -- Easy Street Crafts.
